FMP operate a ‘White Room’ printing facility with four purpose built printing & slitting machines capable of producing printed and plain webs up to 800 mm in width in up to four colours plus UV varnishing and reverse printing.
The printing operation includes full web scanning and total batch traceability. FMP stocks most medical packaging substrates including heat seal papers and filmic materials.
Samples of such materials are available on request together with full specification details and prototype samples where appropriate.
Cross reference data is also available allowing customers to explore lower cost alternatives for packaging solutions.
In most cases detailed information is available relating to ageing properties of both sterile and non sterile materials for specific applications and in combination with other materials.
